Real-time monitoring of salinity levels in the aquarium. This is possible with the Salinity PM2 module from Neptune Systems. Keeping salinity levels constant and at the right level is very important for the well-being of all organisms in your aquarium. And, as busy as we sometimes are, we may not notice that the levels are off until it's too late. With this PM2, your Apex computer can continuously monitor the aquarium's salinity and issue a warning when it falls outside a safe zone.
As a bonus, this PM2 module also features an extra temperature port and an I/O port to which you can connect a breakout box.
Salinity levels fluctuate with water temperature. The extra temperature port is therefore especially important because, when a temperature sensor is connected, your Apex can compensate the salinity reading based on the temperature. This way, you get highly accurate salinity levels.
